I have lived in several countries and enjoy learning about culture and people. My wish is to help people improve their English so they can improve their life situation, whether it be personally or professionally. I have studied TESOL during my college education and have enjoyed my experiences of teaching English at the university or primary school level.

My lessons are presented simply in order to maximize actual learning time. A typical lesson will include vocabulary words, a reading passage containing the vocabulary words, comprehension questions, a grammar concept and a writing exercise using the grammar and vocabulary words. A short time of general conversation will wrap up the lesson time to give the student an opportunity to practice their English.
I have experience teaching young school children and adults and enjoy teaching ESL to any level. I have lived in several different countries and studied three other languages. I have been a student trying to learn another language and know how fun or frustrating it can be. This gives me empathy for my students which makes me a great ESL teacher!
