About Angelica
Hello! I am a TEFL-certified ESL teacher with 6 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students achieve their English language goals. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with learners of different ages and proficiency levels, guiding them to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills with confidence.

As a TEFL-certified ESL teacher with 6 years of teaching experience, I believe that learning English should be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's needs. My teaching approach is student-centered, encouraging learners to actively participate and build confidence in using English in real-life situations.
I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques, including interactive discussions, role-playing activities, guided practice, pronunciation drills, vocabulary-building exercises, and constructive feedback. I adapt my lessons according to each student's learning style, goals, and proficiency level to ensure effective and enjoyable learning.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up activity or review of previous lessons to activate prior knowledge. This is followed by the introduction of new vocabulary, grammar points, or language skills through clear explanations and examples. Students then engage in guided and independent practice through conversations, exercises, reading passages, listening activities, or speaking tasks. Each lesson concludes with a short assessment, feedback, and recommendations for further improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my six years of classroom experience combined with my TEFL certification. I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and expressing themselves in English. I focus not only on accuracy but also on helping students communicate naturally and confidently.
