About Lydia
I am an English tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, specializing in English Literature. I have a deep passion for reading, storytelling, and creative writing, which I bring into every lesson. I enjoy helping students explore the richness of language and discover their own voice. I work with teens, college students, and aspiring writers, guiding them to improve reading comprehension, essay writing, literary analysis, and vocabulary. My lessons are engaging and interactive, using exciting texts and imaginative tasks to make learning enjoyable. I believe that understanding literature goes hand in hand with expressing oneself creatively. I tailor lessons to each student’s interests and goals, helping them develop confidence in their writing and critical thinking. Through discussion, writing exercises, and analysis, students learn to appreciate language while honing their skills. I focus on making challenging concepts clear and accessible. My goal is to inspire a love for English and unlock each student’s creativity. I want every learner to feel empowered to express themselves confidently in both writing and speech. Together, we explore, imagine, and grow through the power of words.

My goal is to help students use English confidently in all areas of life. Together, we practice, explore, and grow, making the learning experience effective and enjoyable.
