About Jhessa

I am a Filipino teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I am a patient, dedicated, and approachable educator who believes that every student can learn when given the right guidance and support. I create engaging lessons that are easy to understand and encourage students to participate, ask questions, and build confidence. My goal is to make every lesson meaningful, comfortable, and enjoyable while helping students achieve their learning goals.

About the lesson

I have 10 years of teaching experience, and my approach is focused on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I adjust my teaching methods depending on the student’s learning style, level, and specific needs. I use discussions, real-life examples, guided practice, activities, and questions to make students actively participate instead of simply listening to a lecture.

A typical lesson starts with a short review of previous topics, followed by an introduction to the new lesson. I explain the concept step by step, provide examples, and allow the student to practice with my guidance. I end the lesson with a short assessment or discussion to check their understanding and identify areas that need more practice.

What sets me apart is my patience, experience, and ability to adapt. I understand that students learn at different paces, so I take time to explain difficult concepts in simpler ways and encourage students to ask questions without feeling pressured.

I offer lessons for Filipino/Tagalog language and related subjects, particularly for students who want to improve their grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and overall communication skills. I can also adjust lessons for beginners, intermediate learners, high school students, college students, or anyone who wants to improve their Filipino language skills.
