About Fia
My teaching methodology for French is built on a foundation of Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. I believe that language learning should be dynamic, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. I incorporate interactive activities, such as role-playing, storytelling, and real-world scenarios, to make lessons enjoyable and to help students think in French. This encourages them to use the language naturally and creatively in various contexts. I prioritize open dialogue and encourage students to express themselves in French from the very first lesson. By fostering a communicative environment, students gain confidence and develop the ability to converse fluently. I take a compassionate, empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that each student learns differently. I create a supportive atmosphere where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth, ensuring every student feels comfortable progressing at their own pace. I use critical thinking exercises and problem-solving tasks to deepen students' understanding of grammar and vocabulary. With 10 years of experience teaching French to high school and college students, I am passionate about helping learners achieve strong proficiency in the language, from foundational skills to advanced fluency.
