About Clara
Hello! My name is Clara and I come from Italy. I studied Anthropology at the University of Bologna and I’m currently living in London.
I’ve been volunteering for one and an half years with Save the Children teaching Italian, French and English to children and teenagers for whom Italian or English is not their first language and I taught Italian as a private tutor for a year.
I’m a friendly and open minded person, who loves learning about different cultures and travel around the world. I love climbing with my friends and one of my biggest passions is cinema.

My teaching methods consist of using a range of materials from grammar exercises to literary texts, music, movies and poems for 360-degree learning of both written and spoken Italian. I also use bespoke workbooks I have developed myself to teach the Italian used on the street and in everyday situations. I want my students to be able to study with me in a serious but at the same time fun way, so as to make learning Italian as delicious as our pizza!
