About Mia
I am a 20-year-old Undergraduate Sociology and Politics student at University College Dublin, and I moved to Ireland recently, leaving my home country of Germany. Teaching German is something I like to do on the side as a hobby and source of income. I am a very outgoing and flexible person, which makes it easy for me to connect with students and make them feel comfortable around me. The student´s success and well-being in the class is my priority, so I always make sure to communicate actively and encourage the student to openly share feedback and suggestions for improvement with me. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

Although I have a special passion for teaching kids, my classes are open to all ages. I am very flexible with regard to class length and different learning methods, but my general teaching style can be described as easy-going, personal, fun, and engaging. German is my mother tongue and I have a natural passion for languages and communication, meaning that my love for teaching German will show in the classes, making them enjoyable and lighthearted. I want to accommodate the needs of my students as much as I can, so I am very open to suggestions and requests from the student´s side.
