About Abby
Hi! My name is Abby, and I’m a patient, friendly, and dedicated tutor who loves helping students understand concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I believe that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain things clearly, break difficult topics into smaller steps, and adjust my teaching style to each student’s needs.
As a swim instructor, I have experience teaching children of different ages and abilities. This has taught me how to be patient, encouraging, and clear when explaining new skills. I’ve learned that sometimes a student just needs a different explanation or a little extra encouragement before something finally clicks!
I’m especially passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct and feel more confident doing it independently.

I’m a Grade 12 student who enjoys helping students understand challenging subjects in a clear, patient, and approachable way. I offer tutoring for elementary and high school students in math, science, calculus, chemistry, vectors, and advanced functions. I can adapt my lessons to each student’s age, level, and learning style, whether they need help with homework, want to strengthen their understanding of a subject, or are preparing for a test or exam. I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into simple, step-by-step explanations while creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct and become more confident in their abilities.
