About Monique
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from Billy Blue Design College and a Diploma in Visual Merchandising from TAFE Ultimo. With over 10 years of professional experience in graphic design, I have had the pleasure of working with renowned brands such as MCoBeauty, Barnardos, and Sunnylife. Throughout my career, I've led successful design projects, including re-branding initiatives and marketing campaigns that have significantly boosted brand visibility and revenue. My expertise spans both print and digital design, and I am highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and project-based, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to the individual's learning style, goals, and current skill level. I employ the following techniques and methodologies:
Practical Projects: I believe in learning by doing. I guide students through real-world projects that simulate professional graphic design tasks. This hands-on experience helps students understand the application of design principles and tools.
Interactive Learning: I encourage active participation and interaction. Students are prompted to ask questions, provide feedback, and engage in discussions about design concepts and techniques.
Step-by-Step Guidance: I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that students grasp the foundational skills before progressing to advanced techniques.
Personalised Feedback: Each session includes personalised feedback on the student's work, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. This helps students refine their skills and build confidence.
Use of Technology: I incorporate the latest design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to teach industry-standard practices.
