About Cruz

I have 7+ years of experience teaching guitar across different platforms. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance (Contemporary Styles). Lessons focus on original composition and musical experimentation. Students learn techniques for arranging pieces for various settings. Each class is tailored to personal aspirations. I emphasize harmonic exploration and chordal innovation. Melodic creativity is nurtured consistently. Counterpoint exercises add complexity and texture. Learners create recordings to evaluate their musical ideas. I teach beginners, intermediate performers, and advanced composers. Lessons integrate technical skill with imaginative projects. Students are encouraged to take creative risks. We study examples to inspire individual projects. Instruction is adapted to each learner’s strengths and preferences. I guide students in handling performance nerves and engaging audiences. Lessons teach leadership, listening, and collaboration in a band context. Students practice live and rehearsal scenarios regularly. Each session balances skill-building with real-world performance experience.
