About Ryan
Hi, I’m Ryan, a 30+ year veteran musician and music teacher offering lessons in guitar, piano, drums, and songwriting.
I work with kids, teens, and adults, including complete beginners. My lessons focus on real songs, solid technique, and understanding music, not just memorizing chords. As a multi-instrumentalist, I help students build rhythm, musical feel, and confidence across styles.
My teaching style is patient, relaxed, and encouraging, and every lesson is tailored to your goals and pace.

Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, I tailor each lesson to your goals. We can focus on learning songs you love, improving technique, understanding music theory in a simple way, or even writing your own music.
I teach:
• Beginner to intermediate guitar
• Chords, strumming, fingerstyle & lead basics
• Rhythm, timing, and musical feel
•. Songwriting, creativity, and ear training
I also play and teach piano, drums, and songwriting, which helps students understand music as a whole—not just memorized shapes on the fretboard.
