About Isa

My guitar teaching philosophy centers on the belief that music is a universal language that transcends barriers and connects individuals. I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where students of all backgrounds and skill levels feel valued and encouraged. I approach each lesson with patience and empathy, recognizing that every student's learning journey is unique. By incorporating a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, auditory exercises, and hands-on practice, I cater to diverse learning styles and ensure that each student grasps the material effectively. I emphasize the importance of consistent practice, goal setting, and self-reflection, empowering students to take ownership of their musical development. Ultimately, my aim is to inspire a lifelong love for music and to equip students with the skills and knowledge to express themselves creatively through the guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy revolves around cultivating both technical mastery and personal expression. I tailor each lesson to balance the rigors of practice with the joy of discovery. I introduce students to a range of techniques, from fingerstyle to strumming patterns, and reinforce these skills through songs they love.

Theory is woven into our work naturally, helping students understand the mechanics behind their favorite pieces. We also train the ear and develop rhythmic intuition through interactive games and loop-based exercises. I encourage students to explore genres outside their comfort zone, from indie rock to jazz, to broaden their musical vocabulary.

One of my highlights as a teacher is witnessing a student overcome a difficult piece and perform it with pride. I strive to nurture not just competent players, but curious, adaptable musicians who feel ownership of their learning process.
