About Emmanuel

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist, histology educator, and specialist in Histopathology and Histochemistry with a strong passion for helping students understand the fascinating world of microscopic anatomy.

I hold a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Histopathology and Histochemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a CGPA of 4.62/5.00. I have 12 years of practical histology teaching experience at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, where I teach students in Basic Medical Sciences, Health Sciences, and medical programs.

I currently serve as an Assistant Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist and Head of the Histology Laboratory Unit in the Department of Anatomy at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. I also work part-time as a Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist in the Department of Anatomy at Godfrey Okoye University, Ugwuomu.

My professional background combines academic knowledge, practical laboratory experience, and hands-on teaching. I have experience in histological techniques, tissue processing, staining, microscopic examination, and the identification and interpretation of tissue structures.

I understand that histology can be challenging, particularly when students must distinguish between similar tissues, recognize microscopic features, and relate what they see under the microscope to the functions of organs. This is why I enjoy breaking complex concepts into simple, understandable explanations and helping students develop a systematic approach to learning.

As your tutor, I will bring patience, professionalism, and a commitment to your progress. Whether you need help preparing for practical examinations, understanding systemic histology, improving your slide interpretation skills, or strengthening your knowledge of histopathology and histochemistry, I will guide you according to your individual learning needs.
