About Ariba

Hi, I'm Ariba! I have a BS in Botany and an MPhil in Biological Sciences, specializing in Plant Breeding and Genetics—a field I'm genuinely passionate about, and one that gives me a deep, practical understanding of biology beyond just textbook knowledge.

I've been tutoring school students at home since 2020, mainly focusing on O-Level and A-Level Biology, while also supporting students across other core subjects. Over the years, I've learned that every student has their own way of understanding things, so I never rely on a one-size-fits-all approach — instead, I adapt my teaching style to match how you learn best.

Outside of academics, I have a strong interest in scientific research and plant genetics, which often lets me bring real-world examples into lessons instead of just abstract theory — something students tell me makes topics like genetics and cell biology far easier to grasp.

My goal isn't just to help you pass an exam — it's to help you build a genuine understanding of biology that stays with you. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to helping you feel confident in the subject, one lesson at a time.
