About Renz Angelo
With extensive experience as an international music teacher and conductor based in the Philippines, I am committed to providing professional, engaging, and supportive music instruction. I believe every student has the potential to grow, and I tailor my teaching approach to their individual goals, level, and learning style. Through clear instruction, practical exercises, demonstrations, constructive feedback, and performance-based learning, I help students develop strong technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student, I aim to create a positive learning environment where you can progress at your own pace while being challenged to reach your full potential. My experience in teaching and conducting allows me to provide practical insights that extend beyond lessons and prepare students for performances, auditions, examinations, competitions, and ensemble work.

I believe music is learned best through a balance of technical training, practical experience, and musical expression. As a tutor, I use a student-centered approach, adapting lessons to each learner’s goals, level, and learning style. I combine clear demonstrations, guided practice, individualized feedback, sight-reading, repertoire study, and performance preparation to develop both musical skills and confidence. A typical lesson begins with a review and warm-up, followed by technical exercises and focused work on selected repertoire, with attention to technique, rhythm, tone, interpretation, and expression. I also encourage students to understand the music rather than simply memorize it. What sets me apart is my experience as an international music teacher and conductor based in the Philippines, allowing me to bring practical ensemble and performance experience into my teaching. My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, including children, teenagers, university students, and adult learners, as well as those preparing for performances, auditions, examinations, competitions, and ensemble playing.
