I am a chemistry teacher at an international school, and my goal is to help students truly understand chemistry, not just memorize it. I explain everything in a simple, clear, and step-by-step way, always adapting to the student’s level.

In a typical lesson, we quickly review previous material, learn a new topic with examples, then practice together to закреп the knowledge. At the end, we summarize the key points.

My approach is structured, supportive, and fully individual. I focus on making chemistry understandable and less intimidating, so students feel confident.

Lessons are suitable for middle and high school students, including IB learners, as well as anyone who needs to strengthen their basics or improve grades.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on making chemistry clear, structured, and actually understandable rather than memorized. My approach is based on building strong conceptual foundations first, then gradually moving toward problem-solving and exam-style application.

Teaching method and techniques:
I use a combination of visual explanations, real-life analogies, and step-by-step reasoning. Complex topics are broken down into simple logical parts. I also focus on active recall, guided practice, and frequent mini-checks to ensure the student truly understands the topic, not just repeats it. For exam preparation, I integrate structured problem-solving strategies and past-paper analysis.

Typical lesson plan:
Each lesson starts with a short revision of previous material, followed by explanation of the new topic with examples. Then we move into guided practice together, where I support the student step by step. The lesson ends with independent practice and a short summary of key points. If needed, I assign targeted homework to reinforce weak areas.

What sets me apart as a tutor:
I adapt fully to each student’s pace and thinking style. I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I focus on building confidence, not just academic performance. My students learn how to think like a chemist, not just how to pass tests. I also track progress systematically so improvement is visible and measurable.

Who the lessons are for:
My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, IB (MYP and DP) students, as well as those preparing for exams or strengthening foundational chemistry knowledge. I also work with students who feel they “don’t understand chemistry” or struggle with problem-solving, as well as high-achievers aiming for top grades.
