About María Dolores
Hello, I'm MariDó. I'm also a Japanese teacher and translator with over 20 years of language experience.
I passed Level 2 on the official Noken exam and have lived in Japan (thanks to a research grant), where I had the opportunity to delve deeper into the language and the fascinating Japanese culture. I have also taught Japanese-to-Spanish translation classes at a university in Madrid and won a Japanese public speaking competition.
What motivates me to teach Japanese is more than just a love for the language: it's the desire to share a different way of seeing the world. I'm passionate about Japan, and I want to transmit that passion to my students. I don't want them to just experience the surface—anime, manga, or sushi—but rather to truly connect with the culture and the people. Language is a gateway to a deeper, more authentic experience.
My classes are tailored to each individual: they combine clear grammar, practical conversation, and cultural elements from day one. I work with beginner and intermediate levels, and I can also prepare you for the Noken exam.
I love sharing my passion for all things Japanese and helping you enjoy the learning journey with motivation, structure, and practice.
