About Kiran
I am a passionate Journalism and Mass Communication educator with a Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and UGC NET qualification. With over five years of teaching experience, I have worked with both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students, helping them build a strong foundation in media studies, communication theories, journalism practices, and digital media.
My teaching approach combines academic concepts with practical, real-world examples to make learning engaging and relevant. I enjoy guiding students in areas such as news writing, reporting, feature writing, public relations, advertising, media research, and communication skills. I also assist students in exam preparation, assignments, projects, and career development in the media field.
I am committed to creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing the confidence needed to succeed in academics and the media industry.

My classes are designed to make journalism and mass communication engaging, practical, and easy to understand. I believe that learning should go beyond textbooks, so I combine theoretical concepts with real-world media examples, case studies, and hands-on activities. My teaching methods include interactive discussions, presentations, writing exercises, news analysis, and personalized guidance based on each student's learning needs.
A typical class begins with a brief introduction to the topic, followed by concept explanation using current media examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate in discussions, and work on practical assignments such as news writing, feature writing, media analysis, and communication exercises. Regular feedback and doubt-clearing sessions help students build confidence and improve their skills.
As an experienced Assistant Professor and UGC NET qualified educator, I focus on creating a friendly and supportive learning environment. I simplify complex concepts and help students develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical abilities that are essential for careers in journalism and media.
