About ETTA
I am a lawyer with over ten years clinical practice experience with a master's degree and concluding a PhD in law at the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. I have extensive teaching experience with teaching commitments taken at the University of Essex International College as a Sessional Tutor in Law- teaching contract law and criminal law to first year students. I have also taught at the University of Aberdeen as a Teaching Fellow in law, teaching contract law, criminal law, property law, consumer and commercial contracts, English legal system, and torts. I have taught international commercial law at master's level at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London. I am currently employed by the University of Birmingham Law school where I teach several law modules. I am able to provide teaching and academic support in Contracts, Land law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trusts, Legal System, Torts, Company Law, International law, Commercial Law, Environmental Law, Energy Law and Oil and Gas law. I am available to take queries in these areas and generally in other areas of Law

My teaching method is student centred as I want my students to be engaged in the teaching process. So I like students to be prepared before the class so that they can interact during each class. However, I also understand that some students may require academic support, and I am able to provide that as may be required. Further, students are encouraged to apply knowledge to different aspects of everyday life.

Perfect! Etta is a gifted teacher. I completely recommend him to you. He explains and simplifies complex ideas to an A level student, leaving her feeling happy and more confident. He is not only knowledgeable but also kind, friendly and personable. He is quick to understand an individual's learning style and adapts his lessons to suit. He is a gem!
