About Katie
I am a qualified teacher with 10 years' experience of teaching A Level Law, BTEC Law, Foundation Degree in Law, LLB Law and LLM Law, alongside Level 3 Criminology and levels 3-6 Policing. I currently lecture at the University of Manchester in the Law department whilst I complete my PhD alongside. My areas of speciality include Criminal Law, Tort Law, Employment Law, Contract Law and Sports Law.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching in a classroom and have thrived in a 1-1 environment such as tutoring. My lessons are student focused, with the needs of the student at the forefront of the session. I like to have a discussion about the type of learner the student is and cater my sessions to that learning style. In the past, I have done a Q & A approach, a lecture approach, and a mixture of both.
