About Winona
Growing up in Bogotá meant I initially viewed language as a social bridge rather than a rigid academic subject to be dissected by grammar rules. Many people assume heritage learners have an easy path, yet they often face unique hurdles when attempting to bridge the gap between home fluency and formal literacy. My 12 years of teaching center on this nuance, blending cultural context with everyday phrases for beginners or those seeking travel Spanish.
I work extensively on accent and intonation while explaining the subtle differences between Latin American and Castilian variants. Whether you need exam preparation for the DELE or just want to polish your conversational flow, I use role play and dialogue practice to ground your skills. I am fully prepared to help you articulate your thoughts with total confidence.
