"I'm originally from Chevy Chase, Maryland, and I attended Bethesda Chevy Chase High School followed by Franklin and Marshall College. I'll be starting law school in the fall of 2025, and I'm eager to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it!

Hello. I’m Jacob, an LSAT tutor based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, working for Prep for Success. I offer a unique approach to LSAT tutoring tailored to help you conquer the LSAT. While the companies I have worked for charge $100-150 per hour or more for tutoring, my services provide a great deal for the same high-quality guidance. We spend our sessions discussing the underlying mechanics of the LSAT – breaking down the Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension sections into manageable subsets and frameworks, depicting the pattern for each question type, and targeting areas of weakness. When I first started studying for the LSAT, I felt completely lost. I was stuck in the mid 150s and honestly didn’t know how to break through. Working with Jacob totally changed that.

He didn’t just throw practice questions at me he taught me how to think like the test makers. His Logical Reasoning tips were a game changer, and his Reading Comp strategies finally made me feel like I had enough time to actually understand the passages instead of rushing.

Jacob was super patient and kept me motivated even when I hit plateaus. By test day, I felt way more confident and ended up with a 171.

If you want to raise your score, I can’t recommend Jacob enough. He makes the LSAT way less scary.
