About Hellen
I have many years of lived and professional experience in both China and the UK, giving me a practical understanding of the cultural and communication gaps learners often face. I have taught nearly 100 students, including both adults and children. My teaching focuses on practical ability: helping learners use Mandarin more confidently at work, while travelling, in daily conversations and in real cultural settings. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and have helped learners make clear, meaningful progress.
