My Teaching Method
I focus on understanding rather than memorization.
A typical lesson can include:
Understanding the engineering concept
Breaking complicated topics into simple steps

Connecting theory to real machinery and shipboard applications
Practicing exam-style questions
Identifying weak areas and improving them
For marine engineering subjects, I can also explain how the concepts are applied in actual engine-room operations and vessel maintenance.

Hi! I'm Jaighanesh, a Marine Engineering graduate and industry professional with hands-on experience in marine engineering, vessel maintenance, technical operations and project management.
I hold a Diploma in Marine Engineering with a CGPA of 3.77 and was a Gold Medalist during my studies. I also hold a Class 3 Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) qualification.
My professional experience includes working onboard commercial vessels as a Marine Engineer, followed by technical management and Technical Superintendent responsibilities involving vessel maintenance, preventive maintenance systems, docking, troubleshooting, class requirements and fleet technical operations.
I enjoy teaching because I understand that engineering subjects can sometimes feel very theoretical. My approach is to connect the theory with actual machinery and real engineering situations so that students can understand why something works, rather than simply memorising formulas.
I am patient, practical and happy to explain the same concept in different ways until the student understands it.
