About Michael

I love teaching because it allows me to share my enthusiasm for Math and Physics, subjects that open up worlds of possibilities and encourage curiosity. I strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn. Seeing students develop a love for learning, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling. In every lesson, I aim to do more than just impart knowledge—I want to inspire a lifelong love of learning, to help my students discover their potential, and to empower them to chase their dreams. Teaching is not just what I do; it’s who I am. It’s about making a difference, one student at a time, and there’s no greater reward than that.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I believe the most important things I can do for a student are:Build Confidence: Helping students build confidence in their abilities is crucial. When students feel confident, they are more likely to engage, take risks, and ask questions, which leads to deeper understanding and improved performance.Personalise Learning: Every student learns differently, so it’s important to tailor my teaching methods to suit their individual needs and learning styles. By doing this, I can make learning more effective and enjoyable.Foster Critical Thinking: Encouraging students to think critically and independently is essential. This helps them not only understand the material but also apply their knowledge in different contexts, which is a valuable skill both academically and in life.Encourage a Growth Mindset: Instilling a growth mindset in students can make a significant difference in their academic journey. By helping them understand that effort and persistence can lead to improvement, students are more likely to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes.Provide a Supportive Learning Environment: Creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space allows students to feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes, which are essential parts of the learning process.By focusing on these areas, I aim to empower students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
