About Afsa
I am a dedicated and patient tutor currently pursuing a degree in biology in college. I have a strong academic background in math, science, and English and enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each student's needs. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop strong study habits and a positive attitude towards learning. I create a supportive, structured, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

As a Biology major in college, I bring strong analytical and communication skills to my tutoring sessions. I work with students Pre-K through 8th grade in math, English, and science, focusing on building strong foundational skills and confidence. My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and personalized to each child’s learning style. A typical lesson includes reviewing homework, practicing key concepts, interactive activities, and skill-building exercises. I use positive reinforcement and clear expectations to help students truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it.
