About Taranoum
I am a dedicated and reliable tutor with over 10 years of experience supporting students in their academic development, including mathematics. I hold a BA in Educational Studies, which has provided me with a strong foundation in effective teaching strategies and student learning.
I am patient, organized, and committed to helping students build both confidence and strong problem-solving skills. I create a structured and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges.
I take pride in maintaining a high level of professionalism, clear communication, and consistency. My goal is to support each student’s progress while building trust with both students and families.

My teaching approach is student-centered and based on a constructivist methodology, where students actively build their understanding through guided problem-solving and real-life applications. I focus on developing strong foundational skills while helping students understand the “why” behind each concept.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up review, introduction of a new concept, step-by-step guided practice, and independent problem-solving to build confidence and accuracy. I adjust pacing and strategies based on each student’s needs and learning style.
What sets me apart is my emphasis on clarity, patience, and accessibility. I break down complex math concepts into simple, manageable steps. My lessons are designed for Pre-K to Grade 8 students who want to strengthen their math skills in a supportive and structured environment.
