About Jessie
Hi, I’m Jessie, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in math. With a Bachelor’s in Mathematical Science and a Master’s in Psychology, I’ve spent over 10 years teaching and tutoring students from elementary to high school. I also served as the Assistant Academic Director at Sylvan Learning Centre, where I honed my skills in creating personalized learning plans.
I believe math should be more than just memorizing steps—it’s about understanding concepts and developing problem-solving skills. My approach is to make math feel like a fun puzzle or game, helping students build both their confidence and skills. I use a range of techniques like visual aids and interactive resources to ensure lessons are engaging and effective.
