About Oscar
I am an experienced tutor with over 3 years of teaching Maths to school, college, and working professional students. My teaching approach focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating environment, where each student feels confident in their abilities. I adapt my lessons to suit the unique learning style of each student, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, ensuring they fully grasp key concepts. I believe in a strong foundation of problem-solving, helping students develop the skills they need to think critically and creatively. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, making Maths more accessible and enjoyable. My aim is to not only help students excel in their exams but also build their confidence and interest in the subject. In addition to Maths, I can also tutor in related subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, applying the same method to make learning these subjects engaging and effective. With my years of experience, I’ve helped many students improve their grades and succeed in their academic and professional goals. My teaching methodology for Maths focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I work to build their confidence and interest in the subject. I adapt my lessons to each student’s unique learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, to ensure that they fully understand the concepts being taught. Problem-solving is at the core of my teaching approach. I guide students step-by-step through problems, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Instead of just focusing on memorisation, I encourage students to think deeply and creatively, building their problem-solving abilities to apply in different situations. I aim to make Maths engaging and fun, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I also provide plenty of practice exercises to reinforce learning and improve retention. Along with Maths, I can teach related subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, using a similar approach to make these subjects accessible and interesting. My goal is to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to tackle any challenge confidently.
