About Michelle

I am a recent Master's graduate in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology from the University of Toronto and am now entering my PhD in Medicine. I am passionate about education and enjoy working with children and students. In my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising and spending time with my dog.

About the lesson

I can act as a more involved instructor, working on homework and assignments with students. Additionally, I can be requested to review essays, assignments etc. and provide feedback remotely. I have a Master's degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology and 6 years of tutoring experience, as well as experience working with children with diagnosed, or suspected learning disabilities (i.e., ADHD, ADD etc.). I am organized, well-updated on the current school curriculum and maintain a friendly and supportive demeanor when working with students. Baseline rate for lessons is 30/hr but will range between 30-35 depending on the level of study.

Perfect! Throughout the multiple lessons with Michelle, we have noticed how much of an excellent teacher she is. Not only does she understand our level in math, but she also knows how to prepare well before every lesson to provide us with the assistance we need for whatever unit we are on. She explains problems with an open mind for other solutions. She has shown time and dedication by creating a lesson to provide a deeper understanding of a topic. Overall, Michelle is an amazing tutor who understands her student's strengths and weaknesses and will provide her assistance and time to achieve goals and push past limits and expectations.
