About Nandeep
I am an undergraduate student currently studying Computer Science and I have always had a strong interest in maths. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and finding simple ways to explain them which is what led me to tutoring. I particularly enjoy problem solving and logical thinking and I like helping students build confidence in their own ability.
Alongside my studies I regularly practise maths through puzzles and challenges and I enjoy exploring how maths links to computing and everyday situations. I am patient, supportive and enthusiastic and I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are structured but flexible and are always adapted to suit each student. Each session usually starts with a short starter task to check prior knowledge and highlight any areas that need more focus. I then introduce new topics using clear explanations and worked examples followed by practice through questions or worksheets. Lessons finish with a short exit question based on what we have covered in the lesson or a previous topic to check understanding and build confidence.
Lessons are usually one hour long and my teaching style depends on the student and how they learn best. I adapt lessons to match their preferred learning style and pace. My lessons are suitable for students preparing for SATs, GCSEs and any students learning maths up to GCSE level.
