EXPERIENCED, PATIENT AND DEDICATED MATHEMATICS TUTOR

With a B.Sc. in Pure & Applied Mathematics and over 14 years of teaching experience, I am committed to helping students understand Mathematics clearly, confidently, and effectively.

I understand that Mathematics can sometimes seem challenging or intimidating. My approach is patient and encouraging, and I explain concepts in a simple, step-by-step manner so that students can develop a strong understanding rather than simply memorizing formulas.

Whether you are struggling with Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Functions, Statistics, or other areas of Mathematics, I will work with you at your own pace and provide the guidance and practice you need to improve.

I have extensive experience teaching secondary and high-school students of different abilities and learning levels. My lessons are carefully adapted to each student's individual needs, academic goals, and areas of difficulty.

I believe every student has the ability to improve in Mathematics with the right guidance, consistent practice, and a positive learning environment.

My goal is to help you become more confident, improve your mathematical skills, achieve your academic goals, and develop the ability to solve problems independently.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Mathematics is student-centered, interactive, practical, and focused on genuine understanding. With a B.Sc. in Pure & Applied Mathematics and over 14 years of teaching experience, I have learned that students understand Mathematics best when concepts are explained clearly and connected to practical examples.

I begin by assessing the student's current level and identifying areas of strength and difficulty. I then adapt my lessons to the student's individual learning needs, pace, and academic goals.

My teaching methodology includes:
• Simple, step-by-step explanations of difficult mathematical concepts
• Worked examples to demonstrate how mathematical principles are applied
• Interactive questioning to encourage students to think rather than simply memorize formulas
• Guided practice, where I work through problems with the student before allowing them to solve similar problems independently
• Problem-solving techniques that help students approach unfamiliar questions with confidence
• Regular practice and revision to strengthen understanding and retention
• Immediate feedback and correction to identify and overcome mistakes
• Exam-focused strategies for students preparing for important tests and examinations

I believe that making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning. Therefore, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and attempting challenging problems without fear of making mistakes.

My typical lesson is 60 minutes, which provides enough time to introduce or explain a concept, work through examples, practice questions, and review the student's understanding.

For younger students or students who require shorter sessions, lessons can be adjusted according to their concentration span and individual needs. Longer sessions can also be arranged for intensive examination preparation or advanced topics.

I hold a B.Sc. in Pure & Applied Mathematics and have 14 years of teaching experience.

During my teaching career, I have taught secondary and high-school students across a wide range of Mathematics topics, including:

My lessons are primarily designed for secondary and high-school students, generally from approximately ages 11–18, depending on their mathematical level and learning needs.

• Are preparing for school or international examinations
• Want to strengthen their mathematical foundation
• Want to develop stronger problem-solving skills
