As a tutor, I believe in preparing children for the future by teaching soft skills alongside academic subjects, and all my lessons are mapped to the school curriculum to ensure comprehensive understanding. I pride myself on creating engaging lessons that are tailored to each student's unique learning style, and I work tirelessly to create a supportive and safe learning environment where each of my students can thrive in.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
I tailor the lessons to the individual student's needs and learning style. This might involve conducting an assessment of the student's strengths and weaknesses and identifying specific areas for improvement. Teaching methods include, Active learning, Visual aids, Scaffolding, Repetition and practice

Typical Length of a Lesson:
The length of a tutoring lesson may vary depending on the student's needs and schedule. A typical lesson might range from 30 minutes to an hour or more. This will include time for breaks.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I am an experienced Maths, English and Programming tutor with over 7 years of experience working with children aged 5-15. With over 1000 hours of tutoring under my belt, I have helped students achieve academic success whilst encouraging growth in all areas of their lives and not limited to academia. I believe in the power of asking for help and making mistakes as important steps towards progress, and I am passionate about instilling a love of learning in my students.

Who are Your Lessons For:
Tutoring lessons can be tailored to students of any age and level of experience. I specialise in working with children or teenagers, due to the fact that I had began tutoring after A-levels, allowing me to build strong academic relationships with my students whilst understanding them on a more friendly level. The level of the lessons may also vary, from introductory concepts to more advanced topics. I specialise in Maths, English and Programming for children between the ages of 5-15.
