About John
As an experienced Mathematics teacher, I believe it is vital that students feel comfortable and happy to be taught by me.
I pride myself on having not just the mathematical knowledge, but importantly the personal qualities which support young people in their learning.
My teaching style is to be positive, to encourage and to help students to gain in confidence in their Mathematics, whilst making sure they go on to achieve at the highest possible level.

I have a wealth of experience teaching Mathematics in Secondary schools and teaching Mathematics online.
My approach to tuition is to be supportive, patient and determined to provide the best possible outcomes for my students.
My lessons are planned in detail to meet the needs of each student.
Each lesson is one hour long and I cater for all levels of ability at both key stages 3 and 4.
I have a BSc Hons degree, a PGCE Mathematics and hold QTS status. I am also a GCSE examiner.
