About Xy
After two decades in the classroom, I’ve seen it all. I’m Ms. Zeng, an expert in NCEA, Cambridge, IB, and the American curricula, and I effortlessly navigate the unique demands of each system. For my NCEA students, I'm a strategic guide, helping them understand how to leverage different standards to build a strong profile for university. With Cambridge and IB students, I focus on deep conceptual understanding and critical thinking, preparing them for the rigorous demands of final exams and extended essays. When working with students on the American curriculum, I sharpen their problem-solving skills for the SAT and ACT, making complex topics feel intuitive and manageable. My secret lies in my ability to see the individual, not just the student. I take the time to get to know each person's unique learning style, strengths, and goals. Whether it’s a student struggling with algebra who needs visual aids and a slower pace, or a high-achiever looking to master calculus with a new challenge, I craft a learning plan that feels custom-built.
