About Sakeenah

Hello! My name is Sakeenah, and I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths tutor with over five years of experience supporting students aged 4–16. I am currently studying Architecture at the University of Reading, where I have strengthened my analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills—qualities that I bring into every Maths lesson.

I specialise in Primary Maths, 11+ Maths, and GCSE Maths, offering personalised lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in nurseries, mainstream educational settings, and specialist SEN schools, giving me extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities. In addition, I have successfully tutored students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting my teaching approach to help every learner feel confident and capable.

I am passionate about helping students build strong mathematical foundations, improve their confidence, and reach their academic goals. Whether your child needs extra support, is preparing for the 11+ entrance examinations, or is aiming for success in GCSE Maths, I am committed to making learning enjoyable, encouraging, and rewarding.

About the lesson

My lessons are suitable for students aged 4-16, from those building strong mathematical foundations in primary school to students preparing for SATs, GCSE or 11+. My aim is to help every student grow in confidence, develop a positive attitude towards maths and achieve their full potential
