About Dora

Hi! I'm an English teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience, including several years teaching in China and many years teaching students online from around the world.

I'm fun, outgoing, observant, and empathetic, and I believe the best learning happens in a relaxed and encouraging environment. I speak seven additional languages, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can explain concepts from a learner's perspective.

Every student is different, so I'm happy to customize my lessons to match your goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for an exam, or build confidence, I'm here to help you succeed while making learning enjoyable.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, engaging, and personalized to match your learning style, goals, and pace. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps in English or an advanced learner aiming to improve fluency, I create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can build confidence and enjoy learning.

Each lesson is practical and interactive, focusing on real-life communication. I use conversations, role-playing, articles, videos, games, and other engaging materials to help you improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

In my classes, you will:

Improve your pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
Learn natural English used by native speakers.
Practice English for travel, work, school, or everyday conversations.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, including classroom teaching in China and many years of online instruction, I know that every student learns differently. I adapt every lesson to your needs, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable.

One of my greatest strengths is that I can speak seven additional languages. This allows me to better understand the challenges language learners face and explain difficult concepts more clearly. If we share one of these languages, it can also be a helpful bridge when needed, making your learning experience smoother and more comfortable.
