About BHAVIKA
I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic tutor with five years of experience supporting students in Mathematics and English, particularly at KS1, KS2 level and 11+ preparation. I enjoy getting to know each student and understanding how they learn best, as I believe every child has their own strengths and challenges.
I like to make learning simple, engaging, and enjoyable by breaking difficult topics into smaller steps and using examples, questions, and practice to build understanding. Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
The reason why I wanted to become a teacher was because for me, teaching is about making a real difference in a child's life, both inside and outside the classroom. I want to have a positive impact on children during an important stage of their development. I believe a good teacher can make children feel understood, supported, and confident in themselves. I would love the opportunity to encourage that confidence while helping students build the skills they need for the future.

My approach to tutoring is centred around creating a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment. I first try to understand each student’s individual needs, learning style, and areas of difficulty. I then adapt my teaching methods and pace accordingly, breaking concepts down into simple, manageable steps.
I believe in encouraging students to ask questions and learn from their mistakes without feeling pressured. I use examples, practice questions, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and help students develop a strong understanding of the subject. My aim is not only to improve academic performance but also to build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
