About Annica
Hi there, I am Annica Marais. I am a qualified teacher (BEd-FET) and TEFL certified. I am also a certified athletics coach. I am passionate about development and helping others to achieve their goals, whether it's in the classroom (or virtual) or on the sport field, or just life in general.
I am very patient and kind. I understand that each person learns at their own pace and in different ways so I am willing to adapt accordingly.
I have experience in teaching at various public schools in South Africa as well as online teaching experience for an international company in China.

I believe private tutoring should be targeted at learners' specific needs so my lessons will be adapted to meet the needs of each individual learner. My teaching style is student-centered and very interactive (Also depending on the subject).
I have experience in teaching many subjects to a variety of grades (ages). My most taught subjects are Life Sciences and Mathematics.
I am also a qualified athletics coach and more than happy to teach/tutor or guide athletes about training programs and fitness.
I am fluent in English and Afrikaans.
