About Yohavarman

I am someone who has always valued the power of knowledge and its ability to transform lives. With a strong background in science and mathematics applied in my professional work, I have seen how subjects like physics, chemistry, math, and biology are not just for exams but for solving real-world problems. This experience has deepened my appreciation for learning and inspired me to share that passion with others. Teaching allows me to help students not only achieve better grades but also understand the true value of knowledge… to think critically, to solve problems, and to grow with confidence. My greatest satisfaction as a tutor comes from seeing students unlock their potential and develop skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom, especially in the daunting corporate world that they will have to face in the near future.

About the lesson

My personal approach to tutoring is based on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their strengths and challenges before tailoring lessons to their needs. I simplify difficult concepts into manageable steps and encourage questions so students gain both understanding and confidence. While I focus on exam strategies and grade improvement, I also emphasize that knowledge is more valuable than grades. Grades may open doors to higher positions, but true knowledge is what makes a student stand out and succeed in the long run. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging online learning environment where students not only achieve academic success but also develop skills and curiosity that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.

My rate is RM 60/hour for online tuition. This reflects 10 years of teaching experience in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Malay, covering Form 1–6, O-Levels & A-Levels. Included in this rate: • Full lesson prep (customised for your syllabus and learning style) • Exam past-papers & targeted exam techniques • Flexible scheduling & online support between lessons if needed If you need lessons in a group setting (2 or more students), the rate per student can be adjusted
