About Jonah
Hi! I’ve been playing piano since I was barely six and have loved music for as long as I can remember. I also spent five amazing years working at a summer camp—my favorite place on earth—where I grew from counselor to head staff. That experience taught me how to connect with people of all ages, be patient, and create a positive, encouraging environment. Outside of music, I’ve started a clothing brand and love spending time in the kitchen cooking for friends and family. Whether I’m teaching piano or building community, I bring creativity, empathy, and a passion for helping others grow.

As a piano tutor, I tailor lessons to each student’s level and goals—whether you're a beginner, preparing for RCM exams, or returning to piano after a break. I focus on strong fundamentals like technique, reading, and rhythm, while also incorporating theory, ear training, and creative exercises.
A typical lesson includes warm-ups, repertoire, a bit of theory, and personalized practice tips. My approach blends structure with creativity to keep lessons engaging and effective.
