About Zdislava
I am a piano and drums teacher. I graduated from Prague's Conservatory where my main subject was the drums and percussions and where I attended jazz piano lessons. I have been playing piano since age of five, I started with classical music and later moved on jazz. I has been teaching piano since January 2014, I taught both adults and kids (mostly primary school). My last teaching experience was on Prague's International School of Music and Fine Arts.

I base my classes on individuality and needs of my students, because everybody has different approach and expectations from it. I follow the ABRSM piano syllabus so I can also prepare students for exams. I keep classes entertaining while I teach from basic techniques including music theory. The classes are composed of different activities as practising scales, arrpegios, etudes, classical, pop and jazz pieces, aural tests, rhythm exercises and sight-reading. I also use technical devices as mobile phone or tablet to support learning by listening to different audios. At the beginning we discuss the goals of the learning and during study I keep record of student's progress.

Details
The travel cost £10 cover travels up to 30 min from teacher's home.
Cancellation policy: It is responsibility of the students (their parents) to notify in the event of absences at least 48 hours in advance. Upon notification the lesson can be rescheduled. Lessons missed by students without 48 hours prior notice will forfeit the cost of the missed lesson and the lesson will not be reschleduled.
Lenghth of the classes (30 min, 45 min, 60 min) can be specified with students or their parents.
Sibling discount applicable (if the tutions take place consecutively at the same place) - every other sibling after first child's lesson can apply £5 discount on the next consecutive class.
