About MARK

Professional Pianist and singer, specialising in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Light Classical.
Experienced player, many previous residencies in West End Bars and Restaurants, cruises and shows.
Also ran a successful performance school in London which includes musical directing and piano/singing teaching.
Happy to meet for a discussion as to your needs and sample of work if nescesary.
Trained under and worked with:
John White, Dominic Mulldowney, Neil Brand, David Robinson [Silent Film Piano], Jools Holland. Bob Brunning [Fleetwood Mac], David Moses, Dave Silk, Julian Joseph.
Has a good knowledge of the London music scene, which venues have music, who they look for and how to apply etc.
Regularly play for weddings and accompany singers of all abilities as well as other instrumentalists.

About the lesson

I am a piano teacher with over fifteen years’ experience. I offer comprehensive, exciting, insightful and fun classes where the pupil sets the pace and we cover exactly what they want to learn. This can range from just learning a few songs, the basics, right through to rigorous preparation for Grade Level exams.
So if you just want to busk through songs by The Beatles or Elton John (without even having to read music!) or want to tackle the classical repertoire with a view to grades or working in the profession, I can accommodate all of your needs.
If you are just starting out or need a refresher get in touch. I offer suitable sessions for young children right through to professionals and retired persons. All ages, abilities and styles can be covered.
I can teach at your home or online as you require.
Its all up to you.
