About Amber
I am a piano tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music. I enjoy helping students discover their creativity and develop confidence through personalized piano lessons. My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and focused on helping each student reach their musical goals.
I specialize in pop piano arranging, modern chord voicings, and playing by ear for popular songs. I teach students how to create interesting arrangements while understanding the structure behind the music. My lessons include techniques that help beginners build strong foundations and advanced learners improve their musical expression.
I work with students across all levels, from beginners exploring piano for the first time to advanced players working toward mastery. I teach various styles including pop, rock, R&B, and contemporary worship music. One student improved their ability to arrange songs by learning how to combine chords, melodies, and creative ideas.
I believe every student can develop their own musical style with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated to grow. I invite you to start learning with me and explore your musical talents through popular piano music.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop creativity, musical understanding, and confidence in creating their own compositions. I teach songwriting for piano, composing melodies and harmonies, creating intros and outros, and developing meaningful musical themes. Each lesson combines structured learning with creative exploration to help students turn ideas into complete pieces.
I guide students in understanding how chords, melodies, and rhythms work together to create expressive music. Improvisation exercises help learners discover new ideas and develop their own musical voice. I support students who want to create original songs by helping them organize their thoughts into clear musical structures.
We explore different styles and techniques to inspire creativity while building strong piano skills. I use practical examples from real songs to explain how composers create memorable melodies and arrangements. One student developed confidence in composing after learning how to transform simple piano ideas into complete musical sections.
My approach encourages creativity, patience, and consistent growth through every stage of learning. I help students build the skills needed to create original music and develop a personal musical identity. My goal is to guide every learner in creating meaningful compositions that reflect their own artistic journey.
