About Masooma

I have officially taught as a teacher for over a year. I love a challenge. I believe a teacher’s real talent is helping a struggling learner improve. I am motivating and hardworking. Also, pleasant and kind with students. I am the possessor of an inquisitive mind, living in a culture where social constraints shun the possibilities of learning beyond the basic outlines. I have volunteered as a teacher for children living in the least developed area near my residence at an academy set up by my mother and a few other individuals, termed as the ‘slum school’. Even though it is an out of the way contribution to the betterment of society, it is not sufficient to satisfy my desires. My last degree; an international graduation programme from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, has provided a means of contact with other countries and their residents through its various modules. Subjects such as the dynamics of International Development and The Emergence of Social Psychology have propelled me further towards my preferred pursuit of learning about the world and the interaction of its people within a country and across borders. Knowledge about the dynamics of international politics and/or deeper understanding of person to person varying psychological state can help me contribute to the advancement of the world towards a more peaceful and equitable environment for human growth. I am on my way to become the influential, unbiased, informed, and supportive professional that I seek to become.
