About Rebecca

Rebecca's passion for medicine and engineering shines through in her choice of field, where these disciplines converge. On the professional front, Rebecca has work experience of 2 years, ranging from contributing to an international project aimed at developing a COVID-19 detection kit project at St. John's Research Institute to work in the R&D division at Beckman Coulter. Rebecca likes teaching and has volunteered to teach primary and middle school students. She pursues various art forms in her free time, specialising in calligraphy, mixed media and watercolour painting. She also loves cats.

About the lesson

Rebecca's strength lies in her ability to simplify complex concepts, making them comprehensible to students. Being a recent graduate, she can connect better with her students, giving them easy examples and inter-related concepts. Her approach to teaching focuses on creating a custom roadmap for each student according to their needs and their current skill levels. The duration and frequency of the classes are decided on a case-by-case basis.

Rebecca has helped my niece during the exams and I am impressed with the progress she has made so far, knowing maths is not a favourite subject. Rebecca showed a lot of understanding and patience, apart from her subject matter expertise.
