About David
Hi my name is David and I have been teaching for 12 years and am experienced at delivering quality virtual online sessions. I have been a GCSE and A Level examiner for the last two years so extremely familiar with the structure and assessment of the courses. My expertise in science runs from KS3 right through to A level and I have extensive knowledge and experience of how to support and challenge students to achieve their potential with a range of goals and challenges from KS3 support to support students in obtaining an A* at A level so they could go on to study Chemistry at Oxford University

I'm patient when explaining concepts and helping students work through difficult problems. I'm empathetic with students to understand their unique challenges and provide personalised support. I am interactive and engaging by coming up with new and creative ways to help students learn. I'm structured and organised and have a clear plan for each session to help maximize the student's learning. Every session has multiple points to check understanding and this is used to steer the course of the session to work on weaknesses and make strengths even stronger.
