About Me

I am a qualified and experienced science teacher with a passion for inspiring learners to develop a love for science. Since 2016, I have been working in well-known schools across Derby, gaining valuable experience in teaching all three sciences—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—to students aged 11-18 (KS3, KS4, and KS5). I have taught in four different schools, where I was responsible for monitoring and enhancing each learner’s progress, ensuring they achieve their best possible grades.

I hold a BSc degree in Human Biology and completed my postgraduate studies in education (PGCE). My solid academic background and years of hands-on teaching experience allow me to create well-balanced lessons tailored to meet each learner’s individual needs. Whether through one-on-one tutoring or online sessions, I strategically plan and deliver engaging lessons that focus on improving both subject knowledge and exam skills.

My one-hour lessons are designed to help students grasp key concepts, build confidence, and excel in their science assessments. I take pride in guiding learners toward their academic goals and inspiring them to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I provide tailored lessons designed to meet your specific educational needs and prepare you to excel in exams. Each one-hour session is carefully structured to ensure a balanced approach, equipping students for a range of science assessments.

I have gained valuable experience teaching in four schools, where I taught all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5 (ages 11-18). My focus is not only on delivering subject knowledge but also on helping students develop and refine their exam skills to achieve their full potential. I strategically plan and monitor lessons to ensure you grasp key concepts and feel confident in applying them during assessments.
