About Lucy
I am an experienced science teacher who has taught VCE Chemistry and Biology and various levels of junior and middle school Science. I am also an organisation specialist and can help students with their day to day organisation and maintenance of study planners to help manage weekly commitments. I have a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Teaching (Secondary), both from Monash University.

I believe that the future requires citizens who are able to analyse, critique and synthesise scientific information. In this way I am extremely passionate about scientific literacy. I love science and thoroughly enjoy sharing this joy with my students. One of the best way to prepare for VCE exams is to practice sample exam style questions. I help my students to organise their study notes so that they can efficiently be used to help them when completing practice questions, in the aim that with repeated practice they will rely on their notes less and less. In one-on-one or small group sessions I can model my approaches to questions to share my reasoning with the students and help them learn how to tackle different question styles.
