About Sean
I am a scientist who enjoys sharing the intricacies of science. I love to inspire wonder and want to help the next generation of potential scientists. Having come from a difficult background with limited resources, I understand the difficulties some students face to gain access to education and good quality teachers. I want to help with this.
In this, I am very flexible and supportive person who will identify your strengths and weaknesses in order to give you the help most suitable to your abilities.
Qualifications:
-MChem in Chemistry (Hons) with 1.6 years research experience in quantum chemistry.
-CIE A-Levels: Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology with highest grade in CS in my country, and highest overall grade in my college and country.
-IGCSE: Various topics (7A*, 3A)
Hobbies:
Reading, writing philosophy and poetry, hiking, kung-fu, martial arts, culinary arts, gaming.

The focus in each lesson to ensure understanding. Whilst every discipline requires some basic knowledge to be "crammed", the rest should be decipherable and attained through understanding.
I focus on teaching students how to think about a problem and show them how to make links between topics so we have fun with the science together! Whilst science can be daunting, I try to make relations of things to everyday life so one can truly grasp the concepts.
I use presentations and live questions as we go through material to ensure students are engaged and don't get lost along the way. Lessons won't be me "talking at you", but more about us having a conversation about the topic at hand.
I have taught primary, IGCSE, A-Level, UG1, UG2 international students. All have benefited from my classes.
I am comfortable teaching all STEM (including IT, Computer Science) up to A-Level (and if you're a chemistry student I would be happy to give you even more advanced tips!).
I am happy to assist with personal statement writing to universities, for scholarships and CV preparation as well.
